Peggy E (Smith) Ross Obituary (1952

Peggy E. Ross, 63, of Osceola, Iowa died at 4:20 P.M. Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Southern Hills Care Center, Osceola. She was born August 5, 1952 in Fairfield to Murl A. and Betty M. Gray Smith and married Harold Ross. Peggy had lived for many years in the Douds area and graduated from Van Buren High School, High School. She moved to Kansas City, MO and was employed by the Department of Defense until she retired. Surviving are, a sister, Beverly Schafer (Joe), an aunt, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ross, her father, Murl Smith, her mother, Betty Smith (died November 19, 2016) and nephew, James Schafer. In accordance with her wishes her body has been cremated. A joint graveside service with her mother, Betty Smith will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday November 28, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, east of Douds with Pastor Phil Ross officiating. Memorials to Zion Bible Church may be left at the cemetery or mailed to the family at 4505 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua is handling the arrangements.
