Jessie P (Bartholomew) Morris Obituary (1922

Jessie P. Morris, 93, of Keosauqua was called home to be with the Lord at 10:03 A.M. December 24, 2015 at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO. She was born July 25, 1922 to Henry Thomas and Elva Cox Bartholomew and married Dale T. Wiley on September 4, 1939. Jessie attended Cantril Christian Church. She gave her life to the Lord at age12 and served the Lord faithfully. She lived in Van Buren County her entire life and retired as a nurse tech from Van Buren County Hospital where she worked for 30 yrs. Jessie was a Cub Scout leader for many years in Keosauqua and Sunday school teacher at Keosauqua Christian Church. She leaves behind her children, Alice Mairet (Dannie), Robert Wiley (Chris), Tom Wiley (Patti) all of Lee's Summit, MO, four step-children, Keith Morris and Juanita Kingsbury (Gary) both of Keosauqua, Lloyd Barrow of Columbia, MO and Bill Barrow (Lavon) of Cedar Rapids, three granddaughters, seven grandsons, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Wiley on December 21, 1974, her second husband, Robert Barrow on September 28, 1996 and her third husband, Darrell Morris on January 24, 2015, eight sisters, a brother. Through her character and faith Jessie gave unconditional love to her family and all who knew her Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Visitation will open at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with family present 5-7 P.M. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery. Memorials to the Salvation Army may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 511 NW Carroll Drive, Lee's Summit, MO 64063
