Bevery Ann Wilson Obituary (1941

Beverly Ann Wilson, 79, of Cedar Rapids passed away on November 12, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A graveside service and Interment of cremains will be at 1:30 P.M. Friday August 13, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. Cranston Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Cards and gifts to a memorial in Beverly's honor may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 62, Eldon, IA 52554. Beverly Ann was born on January 13, 1941 to Chloe and Martin Anderson. She worked at Quaker Oats for 30 years until she retired to spend time with her family. Bev will be fondly remembered for her enormous love, caring heart and beautiful soul. She was very family oriented and loved to be surrounded by her kids, grandkids, extended family and dear friends. While Bev was working at Quaker Oats she was part of the Berry Tones singing group and a participant on the safety committee. When off of the clock from work Bev loved to listen to music, even play some music and sing every now and then, catch up with friends and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Richard Gridley of Eldon, Rhonda Adams (Jason) of Vincent, AL and Rena Campbell (Ed) of Alburnett, grandchildren; Josh Gridley (Lindsey), Wesley and Matthew Gridley, Heather Franks (Danny), Ashlynn Lucas (Marcus), Austin Adams and Chasidy Campbell, great-grandchildren; Lilly, Leo, Jonah, Abby, Zander, Olivia, Sean, Seth, Sylis, Chloe and Aden and a brother, Bob Filer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Gridley and a brother, Larry Anderson. Beverly was a treasured soul who was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her devotion to her family and friend s was continuous up until the day of her death. Always there for anyone who needed her, our protector here on earth and now in heaven, we are eternally grateful she was part of our lives and she will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.
