Judy Lynn (Hendricks) Brown Obituary (1951

Judy Lynn Brown, 64, of Keosauqua died at 1:00 P.M. Sunday September 20, 2015 at home from complications of diabetes surrounded by family. She was born May 2, 1951 in Keosauqua to Glen and Betty Whitcanack Hendricks and married Larry Brown February 28, 1970 in Stockport Christian Church. Judy spent her childhood years in Stockport with her three sisters, Linda, Ann and Barbara and graduated from Van Buren High School in 1969. Larry and Judy spent their married life in Stockport, Keosauqua and Mt. Sterling areas. Judy worked almost 20 years at Walmart in Fairfield. Her greatest joy was the time she could spend with her family, even her declining health didn't stop her from enjoying holiday and birthday gatherings. She is survived by her parents, husband, two daughters, Terri Norton (Kris) and Becky McMurry, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Brown, three sisters, Linda Johnson (Chuck), Ann Goddard (Jack) and Barbara Boley (Jim), 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren all of Keosauqua. She was preceded in death by a son, Mike who was killed in a logging accident in 2012, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Thelma Brown and brother-in-law, Harold Brown. Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday September 23, 2015 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Visitation with family will be 1:30-2:30 Wednesday prior to the service. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery, Stockport.
