Fairfield Douglas E. Cole, age 67 of Fairfield, died Wednesday morning, August 10, 2016 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. Doug was born February 22, 1949 in Ottumwa, the son of Harley and Norma L. Blaine Cole.. He grew up in Washington, Iowa and graduated from Washington High School and attended the University of Northern Iowa. He has been a resident of Fairfield since 1995. Doug was a chef at the Kokomos restaurant and at the Raj. Deceased family members include his parents. Surviving are his 2 sisters: Linda Cole of Fairfield, Bobbi Cox of Lawrenceville, GA , 1 niece and 1 nephew and several great nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Noah''s Ark Animal Shelter or to an animal shelter of the donor''s choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
